Compassionate capitalism may not be a cure-all for climate change and global sustainability issues, but it is a step in the right direction. Compassionate capitalism is a philosophy that seeks to balance economic growth with social responsibility. It focuses on creating a sustainable future while promoting business success.

This episode covers five specific actions we can all take, as well as highlights the future direction of the podcast.

1.  Support academic research: By funding academic research on sustainability and alternate solutions, businesses can help move the needle on these issues. Reach out to universities or research institutions to find out how you can get involved.

2. Embrace continuous improvement: Don't be afraid to make small changes that will add up over time. Every little action counts, and collectively, they can make a big difference.

3. Collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations: Find others who share your passion for sustainability and work together to create change. Collaboration can lead to innovative solutions.

4. Help marshal the resources of two-thirds of the population: As the majority can always make inroads, it is important to focus on two-thirds of the population to create a sustainable future.

5.  Do better: Rather than simply asking for a do-over, focus on doing better. Make conscious decisions that are for the highest good of all rather than just for personal gain.
