Always great to catch up with an artist of Joe Jencks' calibre. Along with an ongoing solo career extending his top-in-category rankings on music charts, his collaborations have included the similarly acclaimed 8-year trio Brother Sun.

I caught up with Joe by phone while he was on the road - over our wide-ranging chat we discussed the power of folk as a force for change and community, Brother Sun, and his upcoming collaboration with Greg Greenway and Reggie Harris for The Calgary Folk Club (he's a big fan!).
