She runs her ministry “Sons & Daughters” from home while homeschooling her children. Marina talks to children about the importance of living holistically and empowers them with Biblical principles. With her husband, they ran group homes for four years through a parenting agency, and her husband is a youth detention officer helping young boys transition back into society. Marina dreams of hosting children's conferences on her campgrounds while training families through her curriculum and book in churches, schools, and group homes. Today, the mother of three shares her story of restoring her marriage after being on the brink of divorce. She opens up about the challenges and lessons she learned throughout her journey. • If you take care of yourself first, you care for others.
• Marry somebody who has your vision or that will partner with you or support your vision.
• The younger you are, the more naive you are.
• It's okay to fight in front of your kids, but fight fair and then teach them how to fight.
• Let him come in, let him say the things he says, but ask the Holy Spirit for help. Ask God to intervene. And He will, he will fight for you. He will go before you. 
• Let the Holy Spirit fight for you and go before you.
• Stay and pray, even in the midst of hurt and anger.
• You need to go through healing. You need to see right where those places of trauma happened or what you were introduced to at such a young age because that does matter and it'll surface and it'll affect the people around you.
• If you want to make a change, there's a lot. There's sometimes there's work to be done.
