Transitions can make or break a lesson. By thinking through the ways in which our students (and us as the teachers) move from one activity to the next, we are able to help make our lessons more streamlined and seamless.

This year I’m challenging myself to lesson plan in a way that focuses more on the transitions in my lessons. It’s definitely a bit more work on the front-end, but I’ve already seen some amazing results from this experiment.

In this episode of the podcast, I share some of my favorite ways to pivot between songs and activities in the elementary music classroom.
