Based on the book Seducing and Killing Nazis—Hannie, Truus, and Freddie: Dutch Resistance Heroines of WWII - a non-fiction book that details the journey of three teenaged girls who faced the question: “Do we adapt or resist?” 

Freddie, Truus, and Hannie, while living in the Dutch city of Haarlem, made the decision to take up arms against Nazi Germany "because it had to be done." Their missions included seducing high-ranking Nazi officers gathering vital information for the resistance, luring them into the woods, and liquidating (killing) them. More than that, they also provided Jewish children with safe houses, transported illegal newspapers and weapons and stole identity cards for Jewish people and others in the resistance
