Navigating the complexities of autism in rural agricultural communities presents unique challenges that many families face alone. Daniel Pieroni, secretary and treasurer for Ag for Autism, knows this journey firsthand. When his second child was diagnosed with autism at age two, the family discovered their southeast Arkansas farming community lacked the specialized resources needed. This realization prompted a difficult decision to relocate to northeast Arkansas in search of better support systems.
