Zara Desai

Zara Desai is a dynamic 13-year old singer and dancer hailing from North Carolina, USA whose

recording career started when she co-wrote and recorded an original song at age 5 with her Dad,

Kenz Desai who is a music producer.

She travels throughout the U.S. performing at dance competitions and conventions such as

NYCDA, Radix, REVEL, Hollywood Vibe, ASH etc. and has worked with cutting-edge

choreographers such as Derek Mitchell, Grace Buckley, Kent Boyd, Cassidy Noblett and well-

known personalities. She's been taking singing and dancing training since she was 3 years old

and there's nothing stopping a bright future for this young performer and recording artiste. She

was given the Youth Icon award by the Mystic India group (which is India's equivalent to the U.S.

Broadway circuit.) Her Youtube channel Zara Desai contains several videos that went viral

providing her with valuable feedback on her ability.

Zara's 2-track debut album entitled On-Point explores diverse styles of music such as Vocal

House and Hip-Hop appealing to all audiences. The vocals are powerful, catchy, relevant and

positive with a refreshing absence of explicit lyrics over a bed of Kenz Desai's synth wizardy.

Zara's focus is often on motivating and empowering young girls and in particular those young

dancers that work so hard training at their craft week after week, year after year. So, take off your
