Guest - Dr Nicole Mirra is currently the Associate Professor of Urban Teacher Education at the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education. Prior to this, she taught secondary literacy and debate in both New York and Los Angeles. Nicole's research focuses on using participatory design methods in classrooms, communities, and digital spaces to create civic learning environments in collaboration with youth and educators. She has written and co-written numerous books and articles on these topics.
