March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. According to the Brain Injury Association of America, every nine seconds, someone in the U.S. sustains a brain injury. One in every 60 Americans live with a traumatic brain injury related disability.
Our guest for this episode on brain injury awareness is Dr. John Norbury, TTUHSC School of Medicine associate professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR) and division chief of PMR. He also is medical director of the brain injury unit at Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital of Lubbock.
