Rising from Grief with Destiny Rael

In today’s season finale of Season 2, we welcome the radiant Destiny Rael. I met her in Los Angeles through a friend, and it was truly love at first sight—her charisma is magnetic. Destiny is raw, real, and deeply authentic. She takes full ownership of her past and a childhood that was far from easy. Above all, she continues to honor the memory of her brother, who passed away far too young. How do we recover from the loss of a sibling? How do we find joy in life when it feels so unfair? Destiny reminds us that we keep going—not by pretending the pain isn’t there, but by creating, moving forward, and embracing that tender mix of grief and joy that makes us fully human. Her path is uniquely hers. Rather than remain stuck in the weight of her Sicilian and Eastern European roots, she chose to rise. She chose to sing, to use her voice, and to honor her gift—while helping others discover theirs.
