One of the hardest things that's not talked about is dealing with student meltdowns. But if we want any kind of learning to be happening, we must learn how to teach our students this one important skill. When I first started teaching, I struggled with this area to say the least and I'm still working on it. But luckily, my friend, I've found a few simple to implement ideas that will help to get rid of those knots in your stomach when a student is having a meltdown. These techniques will not only help you to get through a lesson but have your students showing active empathy. Once implemented, these tips will leave in awe of what your students are capable of social emotionally.
