Glamdrogynous Instagoth: Baron LaVey

In this episode, I speak to the phenomenal drag king, cosplayer and storyteller Baron Lavey. Baron is a Newcastle based performer who has spent lockdown creating incredible digital drag performances, cosplay looks, viral tiktok videos as well as the Harry Potter fan podcast The Drag Malfoy’s. I was thrilled to spend time with Baron and in our wonderful chat we discuss handling social media, separating the art from the artist and what it was like to start out as a drag king 14 years ago.
