Truman Capote is quoted as saying that more tears are shed when our prayers get answered than when they go unanswered. From my experience, this is often due to the fact that our knowledge as human being is limited. So however much we believe we can control the outcome of what we do, the end more often is different from what we sought or believed we needed at the beginning.
