Trailer for Cancer gifted me the chance to re-write my life story - with Danielle McDermott

Danielle McDermott is a wonderful example of how the toughest of experiences can be turned into the best of experiences when looking through the eyes of positivity.  

As she was emerging from a number of years suffering with depression Danielle will never forget the 1st day of November 2018 when she found a small lump in her breast. 

While she says in her wonderfully titled book “Bald, Brave and Bloody Beautiful” that nothing will ever prepare a woman for a diagnosis of breast cancer, the Danielle you will hear from today is one who has emerged from her experience like a phoenix ready to take on the world. 

There’s a famous quote that her consultant mentions when he talks about Danielle in her book “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain”.
