Brooklyn singer-songwriter Reni Lane is busy busy busy! What with crafting her next batch of new music, being a spokesperson for the Keezy music creation app and planning her musical reintroduction. It's been five years since the Oregon native's sophomore album and after a brief career hiccup she's returned wiser and never more certain of her direction as an artist. 2015 is certain to be the Year of Reni!

Talk Music Talk Playlist/015: Joni Mitchell
This week's Spotify playlist is a bit of a non-sequitur. It has nothing to do with Reni Lane. I don't even know if she's a fan of Joni Mitchell, but I've been in a bit of a Joni-mood and felt it my duty to pass it along. This playlist covers her entire career from top to bottom plus a pair of tracks you'll only find on Herbie Hancock and Kyle Eastwood albums. Over 2 1/2 hours from this restless genius who has influenced everyone from Prince to Elliott Smith. These are some of my all time favorite songs by this living legend.
