In 1974, the vocal show group Tapestry was formed in LA with three members, Curt Hespe, Dan Evans and Rick Kern. They, after two weeks rehearsed, opened at reethe Sahara in Lake Tahoe, NV. They were booked for a one week gig and ended up being held over for six.
For the following three and a half years, the group toured the U.S. and Canada, performing in resorts and Las Vegas style show rooms. In 1977, Curt took a different path with his love for jazz. Dan and Rick went back to LA and joined up with bassist Jerry Johnson and guitarist Danny Evans. This podcast episode is a reunion of the second version of Tapestry after 44 years - sharing their stories and music with a dose of inspiration.
