Mike Ciccarelli - An El Paso Border Legend

Mike Ciccarelli is an El Paso musician and a collaborator with Bobby Fuller.

Ciccarelli first played with the band in the early 60s, filling in for Randy Fuller on bass at a Teen Club gig (Fuller had fallen ill at the time). In April of 1963, Ciccarelli became a full-fledged member of the band, playing guitar alongside Bobby, and recording in his homemade studio. Ciccarelli was forced to leave the band in June, as he was unable to make the trek to California with the rest of the band in hopes of getting signed to a major label. From then on, Billy Webb took over second guitar duties.
