Netflix Movie News, WandaVision, and Pretend It's a City

Taking It Down has a fantastic show for you this week to help you stay sane and keep you covered on some pop culture bullshit. First up on the agenda is a general conversation about sports (1:13) that somehow ends up about the terrorists at the Capitol and their likely Covid issues (2:48).

In happier news, we give a special listener a shoutout (8:03) before breaking down what we think about the big 2021 Netflix movie news while we barely remember what a theater was like (8:44). Our podcast is actually interrupted by the news of Phil Spector's death (18:26) before we bring in one of our favorite guests, Natalie Morrow, to help us talk about the first two episodes of Disney Plus's strange but fun WandaVision (19:35). While Natalie is with us, we manage to slip in a little talk about our favorite MTV show, The Challenge (33:10).

After the break, it's a deep dive into New York, Martin Scorsese, and, of course, Fran Lebowitz with the Netflix limited docu-series Pretend It's a City, which is wonderful for a certain type of person (37:53).
