133. Thoughts on Loving Yourself

Today is Valentine’s Day, and the cynics of the world would tell you that it’s a holiday made up by Hallmark and Russell Stover in order to sell more product. While cynics are right more often than not, they’re also less successful and far more miserable than the optimists—and romantics—of the world. On Valentine’s Day, we can celebrate all kinds of love, including self-love. There’s a lot of superficial advice out there on how to love yourself, but you already know that here at Take Care Radio, we like to take a more evidence-backed and practical look at what it means to love yourself, and how to get there if you don’t already.
