I decided to pick up the book California: The Guides That Show You What Others Only Tell You and read about shopping in California.

The book was a bible of information, maps and guides that will help anyone visiting this great state. California has thousands of amazing places to shop. You visit places like downtown Los Angeles, Rodeo Drive, Wilshire Blvd, Union Station in San Franciso and other divine places to spend your money!
