In Old Rhimehopld he was called Good Father Gaius, the noble marble pillar sleeping in the labyrinth. They built their own maze-temples in their own cities so they could pray to a god who had always tried ontheir behalf.
They are, like all labyrinths, sacred places - sacred to the memory of their beloved dying deity.
