It's time to "Swing Hard" with Coach Denny Barrett! Coach Denny has been coaching at the high school and collegiate level for almost thirty years. He has also recruited and coached some of the top collegiate and professional athletes. Throughout his career, Denny has also been involved in all aspects of the athletics programs including recruiting, coordinating programs, budgeting, staffing and maintenance. And, with his successful BATRS program, he and his staff provide preparation for young players to succeed at the high school level and beyond! In Episode 74, Denny talks to Tom Myers. We will let his resume do the talking...12 years professional scout in Southern CA/Las Vegas. 10 years with the Chicago Cubs, 2 with the Los Angeles Dodgers.  He has 16 players signed, 8 currently playing in the MLB.  2016 World Series Champ with the Dodgers. 13 years as an assistant coach at UCSB and Santa Clara.  If you want to know what it takes to make it to the big leagues, check out this week’s “Swing Hard.”
