A few weeks ago I shared photos from an event I did and I received an email from one of the women who attended pleading with me not to post the photo of her. She said that when she saw it, it made her cry. 

This is not an isolated incident. I’ve really paid attention to this concept over the past few weeks, and it’s a topic that pops up almost daily. Hating on ourselves. Looking at ourselves with disgust. And feeling like we don’t even recognize that person anymore. Here’s the thing my friend. You are in there! You are beautiful. You are strong. You are powerful. And that’s what those that love you, see in the same photo. But you are just allowing yourself to fade away. And it’s time to take a stand. Let’s sort through the photos together. Let’s go.
