Starting off in San Juan and Vicinity, we've got a high rip current risk in effect through late tonight with surf heights around 7 feet. So, be cautious out there but enjoy the waves under the partly sunny skies and scattered showers. East winds at 10 to 15 miles per hour will keep things interesting.

Moving into the weekend, the rip current risk decreases to moderate on Saturday with surf heights around 5 feet. Expect more of the same weather-wise with those pleasant east winds sticking around. Sunday looks like a sunny day to catch some waves around 4 feet high.

And for all you beach bums in St. Thomas, St. John, and adjacent islands, hold onto your leashes as there's a high rip current risk through tonight. Surf heights around 6 feet today under mostly sunny skies and scattered showers. The winds might amp up a bit at around 20 miles per hour.

As we cruise into the weekend, Saturday brings a moderate rip current risk with surf heights around 5 feet. Soak up the mostly sunny conditions and scattered showers while the east winds blow at 15 to 20 miles per hour.
