228: O.School Founder Andrea Barrica on How Embracing Empathy, Removing Shame and Being Authentic Impact Your Bottom Line

A call from her freshman roommate from college, Jessica Ma, changed the trajectory of Andrea Barrica's life forever when she asked her to be a co-founder of inDinero, an accounting software company, which raised more than $1 million in venture capital investement. It was one of the most harrowing experiences of Andrea's life -- and her first sign that she was meant to be an entrepreneur.

Today, Andrea -- who has coached other entrepreneurs in raising more than $80 million for their business -- is preparing to launch a business that aligns with who she is as an activist and with her passion for creating sex positive environments and removing shame around sexuality , called O school.
