    • Vin Diesel movie from 2015 getting a sequel from Lionsgate per Deadline

      • Bringing Michael Caine, 92, out of retirement



    • Original film sits at 18% on RT, and grossed $147 million on approximately $80 million budget

    • Why does a dud get a sequel?

    • Jason Fuchs (Argylle; Wonder Woman) has been hired to write live-action movie adaptation of anime/manga series for Netflix



  • The Mandalorian and Grogu (31:00)

    • A “synopsis” at Walt Disney Studios Marketing Expo released for film

      • "As the Force's heir in the galaxy and the Mandalorian's most adorable partner, Grogu has taken the world by storm with his mischievous and endearing charm since his debut," it reads. "Grogu-themed merchandise spanning all channels, categories, and age groups will soon be available—the Grogu storm is about to hit!"

  • Warner Bros. Discovery (47:05)

    • Rumor: Paramount Skydance (recently merged) preparing a bid to purchase WBD

      • Will include entire company, including HBO, WB Pictures, DC Studios

      • Mission is to enhance the company’s cinematic lineup and streaming goals due to Paramount+ not performing



    • WBD says they’re going to start pushing password sharing now that they feel confident in HBO Max value

    • WB and Discovery still planning to split by April



  • Man of Tomorrow (51:45)

    • James Gunn on Howard Stern "It’s a story about Lex Luthor and Superman having to work together to a certain degree against a much, much bigger threat. It’s more complicated than that but that’s a big part of it."

    • Rumors are still Brainiac and also including the Bottle city of Kandor
