Sunsplash Mix Show Jah9 Interview

On this weeks syndicated radio program, we speak with reggae artist Jah 9, right in the middle of shooting a video for the title track of her album, 'New Name' in Jamaica. Now we have a good reasoning concerning her 'service' to the world via reggae music. We ask her to relate the productive connection between her and elder musician/selector Rory (Stone Love Sound) and the focus they shared to ONLY deliver music worth consumption. Jah 9 then gives us some insight on two of our favorite tracks, 'Inner Voice' and 'Jungle' and expounds onto what she believes is a key element that is ailing the forward progress of Jamaica and other colonial countries.
