In 2011, God called my husband & me across the ocean to a land we didn’t know, to people we had no relationship, to a language we couldn’t understand. We were called to start a business in the 2nd worst nation in the world for doing business, but we knew this was God. God took 2 imperfect people & used us to bring hope, dignity, & opportunity to some of the poorest people. He gives us grace each day. The main reason I write is: to make sense of struggles, suffering, & injustice surrounding me. Writing gives me a way to process the hardness I witness, see God in the midst, & give Him glory.
