Julie is a Higher Education Academy Teaching Fellow at the University of Wolverhampton in the school of education and will be head of department for the post-compulsory team from February next year. She is currently seconded to ESCalate, a Subject Centre of the Higher Education Academy Network, whose aim is to enhance student learning in education programmes throughout the UK.
Here, Julie talks about her work with e-portfolios on DTE(E)LLS programmes, about the importance of building a sense of community in online space and offers some practical tips for tutors wishing to embed Web2.0 technology into their programmes.
