CJ Murphy

In this debut episode of the Subvolo podcast, Windhover managing editor, Nicole Shearon, sat down with NC State’s CJ Murphy to discuss his artistic process and the desire to expand upon black narratives using the surreal. In particular, we explored the intersection between poetry and the visual arts as well as the way in which Murphy’s physical environments help to define and shape his artistic work.
