In the spotlight this week - rockin' country artist, Rod Black out of Langley, BC!  

Had an awesome conversation with Rod about how he got his start in country growing up in a rodeo family. He then started a rock band and when his rock band (Jet Black Stare) went on hiatus, he went back to his country roots! We chatted about all of his well deserved accolades and accomplishments, what he likes to do in the summer and SO MUCH MORE!

You're also going to hear his two amazing songs, "Keepin' On" and is latest, "Laketown."

Summer Sessions are going live and in-person in Stony Plain, AB! With the easing of public health guidelines and restrictions, the concerts for this year’s event will be hosted at Heritage Park!

UPDATES: It's open to the public with no tickets required and masks are not mandatory.

Can't make it to the grounds? Concerts will be live-streamed on the Town Facebook page and YouTube channel. Set up your blanket or lawn chair in your yard and enjoy this free music series featuring Canadian talent. 

Concerts will be rain or shine and gates open each night at 5:30PM.

Special Guest performances start at 6:30 p.m. and headliners will go live at 7:00 p.m.
