- When parents have wrong expectations.
- When a parent's request interferes with the care of your own family.
- When a parent's request goes against personal convictions.
- When a parent's request conflicts with the mission and/or vision of the church.
Things to Keep In Mind When Saying No to a Parent:
- Be respectful.
- Show love.
- Communicate well.
- Don't assume the worst outcome of the conversation.
- Trust the Holy Spirit as you walk through the conversation.
