Marty talks about a typical midsummer July week at the McCormack household, where the warm weather brings about those big projects, like digging a new fish pond.   The Fourth of July turns the neighborhood into a war movie sound track and the new puppy anticipation quickly morphs into a herculean dog-rescue mission.
