Holly Grigg-Spall is an author and researcher in women’s health whose work has focused on the social, cultural, and health impact of hormonal birth control.

Holly is the author of the cult hit "Sweetening the Pill: Or How We Got Hooked On Hormonal Birth Control." The book was released in 2013 and has since become an underground phenomenon. She is also a producer on a feature documentary, "The Business of Birth Control," inspired by "Sweetening the Pill," directed by Abby Epstein, and executive produced by Ricki Lake.

Holly recently launched Teena, a free education-forward app supporting body literacy for tweens and teens that pairs with the first basal body temperature device designed for this age group.
