Episode 1: From Victim to Survivor

For the premiere episode of Strong Enough Podcast, I share (for the first time ever) details of being a police officer living in a domestic violence relationship. I open up about the anger and frustration I felt when dealing with domestic abuse victims, feelings that were really directed at myself for my own situation. I talk about some of the many forms of domestic abuse, which include not just physical violence, but also isolation, financial control, and emotional/ psychological abuse.
