Strong Dads - When Was The Last Time You Talked The Homeless - Special Guest, Ken Maddin - Episode 115

We all have had our moments of being quick to judge.  We judge appearances, actions, words, religion, and lifestyles, like we truly have it all together.  We are quick to have thoughts of people's challenges in life, and often seem to have solutions stored away for nearly every problem that others have.  

The truth is, we are all broken and messed up. We all fall short and aren't nearly as together as we would like to believe.  This is just part of the message that we learn about while talking to special guest, Ken Maddin, with the Community Blessing Boxes.  
Ken admittedly has been a hard-driving successful business man.  He has been driven for success and has worked countless hours at being good at what he does.  But, through several encounters with people in need, God grabbed hold of his heart and began to talk to him.  God helped him to realize how blessed he was, but how much he could also bless others.  
With that laid on his heart, he began to allow God to use him to bless others.  Ken begin serving the homeless of Southeastern Indiana with a passion.  He can't always explain why, other than, it's just the right thing to do.
  
When God lays something on your heart, you are called to be obedient.  Satan wants you to logically rationalize it away.  Satan wants to give you quick and sometimes very good arguments against the pull on your heart.  But when you know it is God grabbing your heart and your mind, amazing transformations happen. These are the transformations that result in people being blessed.  

When you listen to this show, examine how God is talking to you.  What does God want from you?  What has He blessed you with?  How can you use your blessings to bless others.
