Strong Dads - Confidently Wrong and Absolutely Lost - Episode 137

When was the last time you were lost?  Prior to recognizing that you were lost, how confident were you that you were not lost?  People do not set out with the goal of getting lost.  It takes too much time, energy, and lack of purpose to be lost.  Being lost creates confusion, anxiety, and desperation in our decision making abilities.  

If we are going to avoid getting lost we must understand a couple of basic ideas before we even begin a journey.  We must have a vision for where we want to end up.  We must recognize and identify the forces that are pulling us off course.  We must understand how to get ourselves back on the right path when we have wandered.  In order to do these things, we must know a few things about basic directions.  There is something called True North.  
True North is the direction of North without any other influences on it.  

How about in your life?  Do you feel like you have been lost and wandering around looking for things to look familiar or make sense to you?  Have you ever been led astray by someone or something that seemed to give you such solid and confident directions only to find yourself in a mess.  This is real life and real life comes with a high risk of being swept off course.
