As a man, the idea of protecting is second nature.  We desire to take care and protect those around us.  Whether we are called as a firefighter, police officer, soldier, or father, we are called to protect.  

In this show Kyle shows the tools of protection that he uses everyday as a firefighter.  He explains the reason for his equipment and the necessary training to use it well.  "Take care of the stuff that will take care of you."

 After a lesson on fire safety , Hutch and Kyle transfer into the role that Strong Dads have as protectors of their family.  Topics such as how to handle yourself for your physical protection.  Protecting your home from intruders through your front door or your computer firewall.  Protecting your marriage.  Protecting your faith and the faith development of your family.  Protection is in the DNA of a Strong Dad.  If you are not equipped, then get equipped.  If you do not know how, then learn.  Satan and the world are one in the same.  They both are polite enough to knock on your door before entering, they would rather break your door down or sneak behind you.  Either way, they want to destroy you and your family.
