Living a life full of gratitude will positively affect your life more than almost any other practice you can integrate, yet it is a practice that many people struggle with doing consistently. In this episode,  we will explore the many benefits of gratitude, ways to practice and how you can bring it into the holidays and beyond.

  3. Improves relationships or your chances for one.
  4. Enhances empathy and reduces aggression.
  5. It may improve sleep.
  6. Helps reduce social comparisons leading to higher self-esteem. 
  7. And it can increase our mental strength as well as aid with overcoming trauma

Ways to Practice Gratitude:

  1. Gratitude journal or list
  2. Express appreciation to others via letter, text, phone, or in person.
  3. Silently thank those around you that provide everyday services that we often don’t notice.
  4. Start a new family ritual by sharing what you are thankful for, creating a gratitude jar, or expressing words of appreciation every evening.
