Paying attention to the different sensations in our body is one of the key ways we can step into the present moment. At a minimum this practice allows us to step out of the thinking brain so we can become more aware of what is going on in our body and what it may need. Body Scans have the ability to calm our nervous system and help us access the parasympathetic nervous system where we rest, repair, and digest our busy day.
