Denise explains marathon train a lot like taking a class (but it has to be an elective because you have to WANT to do it). You get the syllabus, do your homework, the take home quiz (your longest run) and then you get the FINAL EXAM aka the start line of your race day! Running your first marathon doesn't have to be complicated or scary but it gets to be SCITING (Denise-ism for scary AND exciting).
We absolutely love Denise and the way she whispers to so many runners of the world to become first timers, building beliefs in themselves as they go and proving to themselves that YOU too, can do hard things!!
