Setting and achieving goals is one of the most important things you can do to stay on track and keep your head above water. But what if you're stuck in a rut? Maybe you've set goals before but never really achieved them. Or maybe you don't even know where to start? How can you set your goals so you can achieve them without the fear of burning out? 


Welcome to the Rehab to Wellness B.O.S.S Podcast! I'm your host, Kim Nartker, PTA. In this week's episode, I will talk about the step by step process on how to set and achieve your goals in 2023. This guide will teach you how to avoid those pitfalls so you can set and achieve your goals quickly and effectively. 


She will touch on such topics as:

  • There are four keys in life: income, family and relationship, health, and financial freedom.
  • Envision where you want to be financially five years from now, so that you can write that number down and writing it down will get you closer to your goals.
  • When you write your goals down, you actually stimulate a process in your brain that will lead you to the desire to fulfill these goals.
  • Clarity is what sets you up to be in that top 5% and will help you become successful. People that don't have clarity and direction will live a life of confusion, frustration, burnout, and fear. 
  • Once you have discovered your goal that you're going to be working on, and you've circled it and you've written it down, now you need to set a deadline for achieving this goal. 
  • Once you have the written deadline, and you have put a deadline to achieving this goal, then you'll now have the drive and the motivation needed to achieve it on schedule and watch out for your subconscious mind because the fear of failure and your self-limiting beliefs are what are going to sabotage you. 
  • Celebrate whenever you complete one of these steps! This is when you'll feel the best about yourself, so make sure to take time for self-care and give yourself credit for what you've done already (and will continue to do)!
