What if you were in the jungles fighting a war against a ferocious enemy with a strict order to never surrender or quit, the only problem was the war you were in ended years before.
Thats what the story of Heroo Onoda that we'll discuss today, a Japanese WWII soldier who kept fighting a guerilla war on a small island in the Philippines long after the war ended. 
We discuss his life in the jungle and the toll it played on the local population.
