During the 2020 lockdowns, Sandra Hughes needed a change in her life, so she sold her house and decided to take a long solo backpacking trip in the Sierra National Forest. 
Six days after she left, her campsite was discovered by a group of hikers. All of Sandra's gear and belongings were scattered about.
