In case you didn't know, the sun is a ginormous ball of fire which occasionally erupts sending waves of magnetic radiation crashing into space. 

Every once in a while the earth gets in the path of one of these ejections and when large enough, as in September 1859, it can cause catastrophic damage to electrical systems.

But what if today we got hit with one of these waves, where our entire world is dependent on electricity and the internet? Would we survive?
