2016 was an insane year in the United States with the Trump vs. Clinton Campaign in full swing. But in the late summer of that year, and into the fall, another unbelievable meme worthy event took place, and that was the Great Clown Invasion that swept across the country, and eventually, the world. 
Menacing clowns began popping up in both rural and highly urban areas. Some were harmless pranks, others more sinister in nature, like attempting to lure children into the woods with candy.
