The biggest undercover drugs bust in the world at the time, took place in Wales in the 70's, and involved 800 officers and support personnel  from 11 different police forces in the UK, plus several more around the world. Completely untrained in undercover operations, because there was no training back then, they had to pass themselves off as hippies and infiltrate the gang. They mostly did this by drinking beer and taking drugs for 2 years. What could possibly go wrong?
