One of the famous English poison  murders happened 100 years ago, an age when George Orwell said the stories of certain murders gave pleasure to the British public. This is one of the poison murders, thought to have started in 1920, the court case was in 1922.  On the Welsh - English border in Hay on Wye, a solicitor Herbert Armstrong decided that the use of arsenic would solve some of his problems.
