S2 E9 : Gilbert Lawand

Gilbert Lawand is an Atlanta based comedian whose style is a mix of social commentary, satire, and silliness drawing from a unique background born in Baghdad to Catholic parents before moving to a town called Warm Springs, Georgia where he grew up on a farm. Gilbert has opened up large theater shows for both Dave Chappelle and Aziz Ansari. He’s also performed in several festivals including the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival, and the Laughing Skull Festival (where he was a finalist) and also produces the annual Red Clay Comedy Festival.
