Episode 13 : How to get off the email struggle bus

We all have a lot of baggage around writing emails to our customers and so many of us know how effective they are. We know that stats say that emails are 40 times more likely to sell our products than social media. We've heard how amazing email is at selling products, but for some reason we don't seem to be able to get ourselves started and put ourselves out there. 

And I was the same when I started on email. I had this feeling that I was bugging my customers. I didn't want to be sending them an email every single week just saying here's a product, here's a product, here's a product, because it just felt so cold and empty and I just didn't want to be feeling icky when I was selling my products. 

And to be honest, I didn't have that many products. So if I was going to be selling constantly,  I didn't have that much to talk about, so it would get pretty boring. That's why I resisted sending emails to my customers for a long time. And what changed everything for me is realizing that I could talk about anything in my emails.
